'Nine years apart' from Kim Min-jae, the next big thing could return to Munich

Bayern Munich fans are more in favor of Julian Nagelsmann returning to the club, according to a poll conducted by local media.

"Munich are looking for a successor to Thomas Tuchel, who will leave this summer," Germany's Sky Sports reported on Saturday (June 16). Now, the idea of Nagelsmann's return is becoming more and more concrete. Nagelsmann has emerged as a top priority after Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso, who was initially the first choice, fell through."

The outlet then ran a poll to see if Nagelsmann should be reinstated. As of today, more than 25,000 fans have voted, with 58% in favor of his return. However, 42% are skeptical.

Munich decided to part ways with Tuchel at the end of February. The main reason for Tuchel's departure was poor results. Munich are currently on the brink of irrelevance this season. They lost to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup earlier this season and were eliminated from the DFB-Pokal. They also failed to win the German Bundesliga.

After winning 11 consecutive league titles last season, Munich were crowned champions by Leverkusen. Leverkusen raced to the top of the table after an unbeaten start to the season. Munich had chances to turn the tables, but a 0-3 loss to Leverkusen in mid-February proved fatal, as a win would have allowed them to take the lead. Before the match, Munich were on 50 points and Leverkusen were on 52, but the gap widened.

The Bavarians then lost back-to-back matches against Lazio and Bochum, their third consecutive defeat in official matches. Shortly after the Bochum game, Munich decided to 메이저사이트 keep Tuchel at the helm until the end of the season. Initially, there was a possibility of an immediate dismissal, but the club decided that no one was suitable as an interim coach.

Tuchel's successor was considered by many. At first, Alonso was the favorite. Alonso had proven his leadership skills by leading Leverkusen to their first trophy in the club's history. He also played for Munich as a player. As such, he was considered the first choice for the next managerial position, but it"s not a possibility at the moment.

Nagelsmann is next on the list of possible candidates. Nagelsmann is currently 36 years old. He is one year younger than Munich's veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and only nine years older than Kim Min-jae. Nagelsmann started his coaching career early and was hailed as the next big thing after stints at Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig.

Nagelsmann took over at Munich ahead of the 2021-22 season. However, he was unsuccessful and left midway through last season. Shortly after his dismissal, Nagelsmann took charge of the German national team. His contract runs until Euro2024. If he does not continue with the national team after Euro 2024, a return to Munich is not out of the question.

He took the mound in the bottom of the sixth inning and struck out Teoscar Hernandez and James Outman in back-to-back at-bats to get the fans excited. "There was a right-hander, I don't know his name, who had two strikeouts," Roberts said. Outman said he had some really nice pitches. He's got a really good arm," Roberts said, adding, "In Korea, there were a lot of pitchers with good arms in general. Lefties, righties, it didn't matter. Still cautious Son Heung-min...Neville also "can't win Tottenham"

Son Heung-min is cautious about winning the title. Gary Neville doesn't think Tottenham Hotspur will be able to compete for the title. Enze Postecoglou, on the other hand, was positive.

Tottenham defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 in the 10th round of the 2023-24 Premier League (PL) at Selhurst Park in London, England, at 4 a.m. ET on Sunday. With the win, Spurs, unbeaten in their opening 10 games, moved to 26 points and opened up a five-point gap at the top of the table.

Son Heung-min led his team to victory again. Spurs took a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute of the second half when James Maddison drew an own goal. However, it was a precarious one-goal lead. This is where Son Heung-min shined once again. In the 21st minute of the second half, Son received a cutback from Brennan Johnson and rattled the net with a neat finish.

It was his eighth goal of the league. With the goal, Son moved into sole possession of second place on the league scoring list with eight goals. He overtook Mohamed Salah, who was tied with seven goals, and moved within one goal of Elling Holland (nine).

Son Heung-min has now scored 111 goals in the PL. This puts him in 24th place on the all-time list, ahead of Emil Heskey, who was tied with 110 goals. He is now tied with Sadio Mane and Dion Dublin. He closed the gap on 23rd-place Ian Wright (113) to two goals and is now seven goals behind Raheem Sterling (118). He is also nine goals behind 21st-placed Steven Gerrard (120).

The win extended Tottenham's unbeaten run to 10 games and opened up a five-point gap at the top of the table. Manchester City and Arsenal, who have yet to play, are second and third with 21 points apiece. City travels to Manchester United, while Arsenal faces Sheffield United at home.

Tottenham is increasingly being talked about as a title contender. Tottenham's last English top-flight title came in the 1960-61 season. When asked about their chances of winning the title after 63 years, Son was cautious. "I'm a 31-year-old with a lot of experience. I can't say 'we're going to win the league'. Of course not. We want to stay low and stay humble because it's early in the season."

Neville, a former United player, also sees Tottenham's chances of winning the title as low: "I don't think they're title contenders," he told Sky Sports in 토토사이트 the UK. "I think things will sort themselves out in the next couple of months when some teams get knocked out of Europe and don't play midweek games," he argued.

"Tottenham are obviously not in another competition. They're not playing in Europe, and they're out of the EFL Cup. If they can keep their players, they have a couple of weeks to relax."

However, Neville added: "I don't think Tottenham are a good enough squad or a good enough team to win the league. Their performance at this point has exceeded our expectations of where we thought they would be."

However, Postecoglou was positive: "Let the fans dream, that's what being a football fan is all about. They've suffered a lot, so I'm not going to dampen their dreams."

Hwang Sun-hong not smiling after round of 16 win

"When you get a lead and you can't sink your opponent, you struggle. I think today was one of those games where we learned that lesson."

Asian Games head coach Hwang Sun-hong did not celebrate after the 5-1 win and quarterfinal victory.

Hwang Sun-hong's Asian Games men's football team continued their quest for a third consecutive title with a 5-1 victory over Kyrgyzstan in the men's football round of 16 at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games on Sunday at the Jinhua Sports Center in Zhejiang, China. As the scoreline suggests, the team's excellent form, which saw them score 16 goals and keep no clean sheets in their three group games, continued in the Round of 16. Four games totaled 21 points and one goal. It's safe to say that they've completely dominated the Asian Games stage so far.

However, that one goal may have been a thorn in the side of Hwang Sun-hong's side. Just a minute after Baek Seung-ho (Jeonbuk Hyundai) scored the first goal for South Korea on a penalty kick, Jung Woo-young (Stuttgart) added another. It was a quick flurry, but the momentum was short-lived. To make matters worse, a sloppy play cost them. In the 28th minute, Baek Seung-ho lost his touch on a pass near the halfway line. This allowed Maksat Aligulov to steal the ball, which he converted after advancing all the way into the penalty box. The wounds of the one-goal deficit seemed to fade quickly as South Korea piled on three more late goals.

But head coach Hwang Sun-hong and his players didn't forget. Speaking to the media after the game, Hwang said, "I'm happy to move on to the next round," but added, "I think soccer is a game of flow. If we don't sink the opponent when we have the lead, we give them a chance. That's why we struggle. I think today was one of those lessons (for the players). Hopefully, we won't have to play like this in the future."

The Korean team turned things around in the second half. They scored three quick points to turn a tight game into a one-sided affair. Coach Hwang Sun-hong said, "After the first half, there were a lot of loose parts of the game. Apart from the goal, we made a lot of mistakes. There were a lot of backward passes when we were attacking and trying to move forward. We focused a little bit on that at halftime. "Ball possession is very important for us to be in control of the game. We made substitutions to reinforce that."

"There were a lot of problems today when we weren't organized. We had a lot of problems when we weren't organized. We didn't face many of those situations in the qualifiers, so the players were a little bit unfamiliar with the situation, a little bit lacking in situational awareness. Psychologically, we struggled a little bit in the chasing position." "In the quarterfinals, there will be many such situations. Psychologically, you have to be able to handle it. We have three days off after today's match. We'll try to organize that in there and get ready for the quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final."

Meanwhile, South Korea's next opponent is the hosts, China. They've made it all the way to the quarterfinals, but their home fans will be cheering them on regardless of the event. There are many expectations that the game will be decided 토토사이트 by home advantage. Coach Hwang Sun-hong said, "It's a scenario we've been expecting. "If we can't overcome the pressure of the large home crowd and the rough play of our opponents, I don't think we can win the gold medal. I don't think anyone can stand in our way. We will take it one step at a time with our players. I think it's going to be a very good match."
